AS SIKB 3000 Analyses of soil, sediment and groundwater samples

In the Netherlands the critical activities in site investigation and remediation are subject to regulation. This ensures a good quality as well as integrity. Thanks to this, trust in the results is relatively high.

The fieldwork for site investigation may only be performed by a company carrying the appropriate license, which is based on a certificate for BRL SIKB 2000 or an accreditation for AS SIKB 2000. The analyses of the soil, sediment and groundwater samples may only be performed by laboratories carrying the appropriate license, which is based on an accreditation for the Accreditation Scheme AS SIKB 3000, Laboratory analyses for soil, sediment and groudwater investigation. This accreditation scheme consists of a document with the general requirements, AS SIKB 3000, and three documents with the specific requirements as to the laboratory analyses. These documents are listed below.
